Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data we collect through the jacromania.ro website, why we collect it and what your rights are under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The Romanian version prevails in case of any difference.

1. Who the controller is

The data controller is S.C. GRADINARIU IMPORT EXPORT S.R.L., with its registered office at Str. Chiciurei nr. 47, Sector 3, Bucharest, Romania, J40/8414/1994, tax ID (CUI) 5348490.

2. Which data we collect

Data you give us through the contact, test drive, quote and service forms: full name, email address, phone number, company (optional), the model you are interested in and your message.

Technical data, collected automatically when you submit a form: IP address, date and time of submission and the language in which you used the site. We keep it for security and to be able to demonstrate consent.

Browsing data, only if you agree in the cookie banner: traffic statistics and, where applicable, data for measuring campaigns. Details are in the Cookie policy.

We do not collect sensitive data through the site and we do not ask you to send it through the forms.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

To answer you, prepare a quote or schedule a test drive or a workshop visit: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and your consent, Art. 6(1)(a).
To protect the site against abuse and spam: our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f).
To analyse traffic and campaign performance: only with your consent, Art. 6(1)(a), which you can withdraw at any time.
To comply with legal obligations, for example tax obligations, once we enter a contractual relationship: Art. 6(1)(c).

We do not use your data for automated decisions and we do not build profiles that have legal effects on you.

4. Who we share it with

The data reaches only the people in the Company who handle your request and the providers who work on our behalf: the website hosting provider and the email provider. If you agree to analytics or marketing cookies, certain browsing data reaches the providers of those services, for example Google or Meta, which may also process data outside the European Economic Area on the basis of the safeguards provided by the GDPR.

We do not sell or rent your data.

5. How long we keep it

Requests received through the forms are kept for at most 24 months from our last conversation, if no contract follows. If you become a customer, the data is kept for the duration of the contract and as long as the law requires, for example for accounting documents.

Your cookie preferences are kept for 6 months, after which we ask you again.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, the right to object to processing and the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the processing carried out until then.

To exercise your rights, write to office@gradinariu.ro. We reply within one month at most.

If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), B-dul G-ral Gheorghe Magheru nr. 28-30, Sector 1, Bucharest, dataprotection.ro.

7. Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), the forms are protected against automated submissions, and access to the requests received is limited to authorised persons, based on an account and password.

8. Changes

We may update this policy when the site or the legislation changes. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update.
