ExpoApa 2026: Grădinariu equipment for water and sewer operators
ExpoApa is the largest event of the Romanian water industry, organised by the Romanian Water Association. The 2026 edition, the 26th, took place from 8 to 10 September at Romexpo, in Pavilion B2, and brought together almost 90 exhibitors from 13 countries. Drought and the pressure on water resources were the central theme.
Grădinariu took part with equipment for maintaining water and sewer networks, a field we have worked in for more than 30 years.
What we exhibited
- a Rhino suction excavator, delivered to Apa Canal Ilfov, which digs by suction around pipes and cables without the risk of breaking them;
- a Kaiser sewer cleaning combination unit, delivered to Hidroprahova;
- a second Kaiser combination unit, delivered to Apa Canal Ilfov;
- a Longo mini combination unit, from stock, for narrow streets and fast callouts.
Three of the four machines had already been sold and came to the fair straight from our customers' fleets. For us that says more than any brochure: this is equipment that works every day in Romania's networks.
Why sewer equipment appears on a JAC blog
Because it comes from the same house. Grădinariu Import Export is the JAC Motors distributor in Romania and, at the same time, a builder and supplier of special-purpose equipment. The bodywork and type approval experience we use on a sewer combination unit is the same we use to build a vacuum tanker or a water tanker on a JAC electric chassis.
For water operators this opens a new option: electric intervention vehicles for central areas, where noise and emissions matter, alongside the classic heavy equipment.
Service and parts at the same address
A sewer machine that is out of action means a fault that is not being fixed. That is why maintenance matters as much as the purchase: 70% of the equipment we deliver is maintained directly by our own service team in Bucharest.
